What a week… I caught 4 movies this week, Traveller’s wife, G-force, Beth Cooper, Moon… all of them are nice… Travellers wife is touching… G force funny and Beth are funny, Moon is thought provoking…
Tried 2 new food places this wk, Juju hotpot @ pomo and Dim Joy… very nice food and great value… Saturday was slacked day as I rest @ hm after a tiring week… went out for a while to play l4d with joe and yf though… and sunday woke up early to have dim sum @ chinatwn with the gang… farewell meal for them yea… tho I will be visitin them in 3 mths aft they fly… had trouble finding the place as the shop’s sign was small enough to evade my radar… in the end the latecomers become the early comers lol… lucky I booked the restaurant @ a later time … and so the best food from Dim Joy would be their egg tarts… melts in your mouth… nuff said… k going to turn in after settling some important stuffs… man this is beginning to feel like a show… haha

Pool’s weakness
Saturday was the first match of the big 4… Manu vs Arse… kinda boring I must say… and with the kickoff time @ 12am means I cant host the screening at my house…
Before that was Pool match… without the red card I doubt they can get a point, much less 3… with Gerrard man-marked, which last season they found out to be effective and now even more without a 2nd player to create chances, pool was practically waiting to be attacked and hit on the counter… luckily RB was smart and asked him to go deeper and spray passes cos lucas and mashey just cannot… gd move of the day… soon the red card came and everythings history… Aquilani faster recover… and G Johnson is ever so impressive… oh well this is not their title again… Chel will win it, with possibly one of the big 4 out of champs league next season…

Weather today… actually yesternight already started raining… makes me slack in bed the whole morning… then both my parents went out so I just ate 2 buns for my brunch and off to soccer… thinking it will rain soon so will be a short session today… but i was so wrong… yes it started to drizzle but not heavy enough to make us all go home… and with no outside interference… today is the perfect day for soccer… cooling weather… good games… the only downside is my shoe… my old leather predator had died after serving me faithfully for 2 years plus… after I felt I could make contact with the ground with my feet I knew it was time… 2nd match with my new boots… better than the 1st… but need to get the technique of shooting right in this synthetic plastic… range of passing and first touch is ok… ok enough of that
Friday caught The Proposal… the witty dialogue makes this show a good comedy… expected storyline… but still an enjoyable movie… went to check out gardens and saw some new places for hangouts even though maju mall has closed down… hmm… ok time to do assignment… till next week!

Todays soccer session was hampered abit by lack of sleep as I caught the late night soccer of Arse vs Everton… very entertaining… I missed the earlier match due to class… rushed home after that to catch the 2nd timing… saw afew new players with quality… and some surprises in how certain team plays… this season is going to be a tough one due to the spendings of Manc upsetting the balance… oh well… that kicks off the EPL season… todays 2 more matches before wrapping it up…
Caught ‘Up’ on fri and it was a super funny movie… its been awhile since I’ve caught something that is both heartwarming and funny at the same time… Sat finally went to do my unlimited SMS thing at PS… today did some PC cleaning as I feel that it is going to overheat anitime…

Phobia…
This sem was all about disorders and treatments… I think I need to read up on my seafood phobia… haha… went prawning on saturday and it was fun… only the hooking up part… once the 1st prawn got caught and I saw how Rick handles it I knew something was wrong… memories of my childhood days of going tampines to prawn was vague… anyway Im glad I wont be eating them as… haha… though I get a brief crash course from the net but still I manage to catch just under 10 for the whole night… still not worth it… but an experience is priceless… after that is the usual ponggol nasi before heading back for some games… slept at 5 and woke @ 3 for my soccer… almost cant wake if not for Juls call… for once his call is of some use… lol… its been some time since I last meet up with the guys… had my usual game… ok they are asking for scrabble again… going to nap awhile before going over… my mind is stil tired man…
A few conversation makes me feels like a kid again… surprisingly it brings me back down to Earth and look at things in abit of different way… so thats the balance they are talking about…

Ok I was down with record fever at 39.4 degrees… I thought it was H1N1 but the doc never did anything… well I recovered except for afew itchy cough… should be at full power tomorrow… couldn’t remember anything during the 4days I was sick… only eating at watami @ ion, which was good, meeting up with Dan, watching The Hangover, playing PS3’s WE11… Ok long weekend now… deserve this break after chionging the 2 assignment overnight with minimum sleep… going to turn in soon… had a funny evening today… ha…

Last weekend just went pass quickly… fri went to check out ion fully this time… super alot of good food la… im gona wack all of them soon… the shops were ok… with the new ones providing some good shirts and pants… but abit pricey due to the rent i guess… then finally had ba chor mee after 2 months… and since the tray was hidden out of view, I helped 2 ppl take and give it to them… they gime the “why is this guy helping me face”… anyway headed home after that to rest…
Sat was breakfast with the guys and some we11 before doing my assignment… tats about it… then sunday I was sick… great timing… so progress was slow and I feel so weak and I know I cant concuss if not the assignment is a goner…
That wrapped up my weekend… and I think this weekend would be about the same with another deadline due soon… but Dan’s back! Time to meet up

Too busy this few weeks so here are some major updates…
So Long’s finally back from US and we went to greenwood avenue to check out this Italian restaurant called Donna Carmela… Yes I have been eating Italian cuisines recently… everytime I savour the food I would think I’m sitting by the window and looking at the people and carriages moving along the pebble pavements… Im listening to some classical italian music when Im posting this… anyway here are the pics…

Theres a breakfast coming up this sunday… haha an excuse to return money also to Long who paid by card that night…
So last week was fun as well with a picnic @ sentosa with the gang… totally holland when we were @ 2 opposite ends of the beach… took 2 hours to finally settle down at palawan… ha… then the feast begins… with too much food… and had to play the number game to finish some of them… after that we make our way to partyworld @ CQ… had a blast over there… then finally we wrap it up with settlers… played the taboo with bendy bob… super funny… then came the joke of the day of toa central provided by cyn as usual… went home feeling super tired… still I woke up in time the next day for my soccer match… no subs! halfway through the 2nd half I was shagged out already… playing with a tough opponent somemore… double unlucky… anyway it rain towards the end but luckily I brought another set of clothes… went home and had dinner before concussing…
So school re-opens… and this person is still saying funny things… I’ve already used the lag time theory on another one… hope she gets the idea… and I have an assignment due on next monday already… haha super speedo…
Today went to check out ion with joe,fate and meg… though i only browse like 10% as most of the time the girls are doing shopping… well actually only fate is shopping… shopaholic… ok time to rest… my stomachs not feeling gd… maybe its the lunch today… good night world

Fri- Dinner was out as my parents went to ktv… so I took up the offer of eating @ chinatwn with Akatsukis and tried out some new place which aaron found which is just normal… maybe we should have ordered the frog leg’s porridge which alot of people is eating there… after that we took a cab down to selegie to play l4d… took quite a while as the road to stamford rd is closed due to the night festival… and the taxi driver keep repeating it with aaron replying with the same answer ‘I know’… anyway the game was quite fun with the usual stunts and after that we went to wait for the bus… amazingly there’s alot of ppl @ the bustop and we remembered there’s road closure and we went to check the board… true enough it lasts till midnight… so thats an info for $3 bucks for aaron and irv cos only their buses are affected…
Saturday was pri sch gathering day… after a quick nap I woke up more tired… but still more ppl are later than me,yh and long… I cannot believe there’s 20 of us taking the bus… feels like excursion… so we went to hooked at upper thomson and saw wee hian working there… its only his 2nd day… what a coincidence… the food was normal as expected cos I tried their branch @ the rail mall already… saw Wong pipi outside @ the massage place beside… he didnt come cos of his ict… saw alot of faces which brings back some nostalgic feel… the one who changed the most is Louis cos he was botak back then… haha… after that we went to some jap restaurant at esplanade and continue our session… finally the last part of the trilogy was at some places along the CQ river to wrap up our chat… by then I was running on 10% energy as my eyes are closing… this is the 1st time in so many mths I haven been slping for 24 hrs…
well I talked to most of them… the ones I really connected to was WJ and MX… WJ came from a broken family… poor… and he’s taking 10 tution a month just to pay his household expenses… with a bro who is rebelling… maybe cos of the situation… he didnt have many friend in his sec or jc and uni days as he was busy working and studying… well he’s doing well now with a gf and 1st class honours coming… he’s already apply for hdb flat… with a plan of his future already mapped out… I didnt think anyone plan further than I did… I hope everything turns out well for him after he got his job aft grad…
MX was studying occupational therapy in aussie… dealing with ppl with intellectual disability… something which I was considering too before I took up psyc… well alot of experiences for her from a choice of interests vs money job to issues with family and friends… being the only asian working at her place over in aussie is no easy feat… what she said about guys in her field make sense to me… guess no matter how this society evolves… the basic foundation of mankind wouldnt change… only more difficult… I must say its nice to talk to ppl with the same passion for something… I guess the next time we can chat would be the end of the year…
Sunday woke up at 1 due to me slping at around 5 plus… had a quick brunch before going for my match… thrash the opponets 8-2 as their defence was just lousy… haha… though I didnt do much aside from sending a through ball, closing down the players most of the time, being a menace on the left by cutting in and assisted the last goal… took a nap when I reach home… finally im a bit tired now… time to hit the bed… sch re-opens on the 20th… one more picnic to go!
